America's defense startups

It’s a gorgeous sunny morning here in Atlanta. I’m writing this from the garden of Hotel Granada which as the name implies is a Spanish themed hotel. Flight delays and going from meeting to meeting yesterday aside, it’s been a great short trip.

I met with some of our clients who are building the future of America’s defense. Unfortunately we live in a world where startups building weapons of war is a necessity to secure the future of our country. After meeting with some young, brilliant, and mission driven individuals yesterday, I feel better than ever that our country is in good hands.

Of course, my hope is that we’ll never have to use these said weapons of war. Fittingly, President Trump and lots of America’s business leaders are currently in China meeting with President Xi. I remain optimistic that the world’s two superpowers can work together for a more prosperous human race.

I’m intrigued at what the outcome will be of these meetings. I’m glad that President Trump isn’t going alone and he is surrounded by some of America’s smartest business leaders.
