Dog days of summer

Things are shaping up nicely for us as we wrap up the quarter. There won’t be a hectic rush to wrap things up in the next week which is great. Most quarters for some reason just end up being a bit crazy at the end with people waiting last minute.

The end of Q2 especially with the July 4th holiday is a nice one for all of us to unwind a bit after bust first half of the year. So far things are shaping up that we’ll all be able to take some time off as we had planned and I’m really looking forward to it.

All that said, we’ve got a lot of “debt” built up over the last couple quarters that we’ll need to focus on in July. Lots of clean-up work and things that need to get done in order for the second half to go well. As we head into the dog days of summer, it’s important that we make sure to keep pushing these items forward while also making sure that we all get some rest.
