Training
Things are quieter right now, but I feel like my list of minor small things to tackle just keeps growing. Review this copy, review this content, update this deck, etc. The work is usually a bit more tiring than my usual of just closing deals. The context switching every 10-30 minutes wears me out a bit.
On top of that, it always feels like my checklist gets bigger by the day and it’s always like whack-a-mole. There’s really only a couple ways to fix this in the future.
First, look to leverage AI to automate some of these tasks. Unfortunately, it can only go so far as a lot of these items are judgement calls where obviously a human like myself needs to make. Nevertheless, there are definitely some tasks that are worth exploring AI to take over.
Second and most important will be training new staff to take over and delegate tasks to. We’ve got a lot of new young talent that is joining the team and I’m incredibly excited to get them onboard. It’s going to be a lot more work up front, but what we need right now is an infusion of hungry talent to come in and help take us to the next level. That’ll be one of my biggest priorities to close out the year.
